The best piece of advice I’ve ever heard on how to develop consistent, fruitful, productive daily Bible study habits is this:
1. Decide on a PLACE where you are going to study the Bible every day.
2. Decide on a TIME when you are going to study the Bible every day and do not move it for anything.
3. Decide on a PLAN that you will follow for your Bible study.
I’ve never heard of a person who has consistent, fruitful, productive daily Bible study who does not have these three things in place.
If you’re looking for some good options for Bible reading plans, check out the ESV site, which offers plans to read through the Bible in a year, to read through the OT once and NT twice, to read through it with the books chronologically arranged, to read through one book at a time, etc.
